Rachel Burne

Hi there, as a counsellor I begin from a relational approach to counselling, emphasising the value of every individual I meet and offering them a safe, empathetic space.

From here, we can freely explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges.

I use a range of therapeutic approaches, working collaboratively with you to align our sessions to your unique needs and hopes.

Central to my practice is a dedication to nurturing authentic connections and empowering you to discover your inherent strengths.Together, we will aim to uncover insights, nurture resilience, and encourage positive growth in your life.

About Me

Born and raised in Taranaki, my husband and I have been married for 16 years and have two children. Since 2018 we are happy to call the sunny Bay of Plenty home. In my working career, I have always been fortunate to be in roles that allow me to work alongside and with people hearing their stories, which I love. Most recently I have worked with those affected by Chronic Illness and Grief and loss. In my free time, I love walking my dog Milo, drinking good coffee, op shopping and enjoying the company of good friends and family.
