Life is only as good as the relationships around you. But if you’re stuck in mess, lost dreams, pressure, over-functioning and you feel out of options – then what? I honour your courage to seek help and offer a place of empathy, warmth, validation and non-judgement for you to bravely step into your story and make a new meaning. i have an innate ability to be real, go deep, and also to see strength where it’s hidden. I work from an attachment lens with a belief that choices, boundaries, and self acceptance can support sustainable flourishing. I count it a privilege to journey with you.

Personal
I have been married for 20 years and have five children who are the passion of my life. I was born in Whakatane and the Bay of Plenty has been my home. I am the grand-daughter of a former Estonian refugee and holocaust survivor, and grew up with stories of trauma, loss, and hope. This informs my passion to learn the story that each person has and lives in, and find meaning in connection to others.
I spent many years home-schooling our children, and researching relationships, before pursuing my passion for counselling. I secured a position in a local college working as a guidance counsellor with children and adolescents. I also work as a course educator and enjoy watching others come to thrive.
I enjoy nature, running, and creating memories and finding beauty in everything. I love hiking mountains, art, hearing others stories, a great shared meme, podcasts, music, cooking, salt and vinegar chips, pj’s and a rom com movie.
