I use narrative practices in my counselling. Narrative therapy explores the “stories” of our lives, and the meanings we have made of those stories, or meanings others have given to us. Our time together should be as useful and relevant as possible, so we move at a pace that suits you, and the direction of our work is guided by you. I will check in with you frequently to see if our work is helpful or not. My room is a space where we can explore what is going on for you in a safe, confidential, non judgemental way.

How long will it take? Some people find what they are looking for from counselling very quickly and only need one or two sessions. Others take longer. Sometimes, in dealing with the problem the person has come to work on, we unearth a more deeply hidden issue and that becomes a new focus of our work together.
I moved to the Bay for about ten years ago with my partner and two boys. I love being here and mountain bike, tramp and do a bit of paddle-boarding to recharge. I enjoy listening to music and working on little projects on our lifestylish block. My life experiences include a few trips around the world, being a full time father for 15 years, being a teacher and a professional photographer, and a lot of adventures in our beautiful country.
